Kareena Kapoor addresses burglary incident, assures 'family doing fine'
Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan assured fans that her family is safe after a burglary attempt at their Mumbai residence early today (16 January), during which Saif Ali Khan sustained stab injuries.
In an official statement, Kareena's team shared, "There was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine."
"We request media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the police are already doing their due investigations. Thank you all for your concern," added the statement.

The incident occurred around 2:30am, when an intruder entered their Bandra home. Saif, who encountered the burglar, was stabbed six times during a scuffle. Despite the injuries, the actor managed to alert others in the house, causing the assailant to flee.
An FIR has been lodged at Bandra police station, Mumbai, and a thorough investigation is underway.
