Taylor Swift surpasses Rihanna as world's richest female musician
Pop star Taylor Swift has overtaken Rihanna and is now reportedly the second-richest musician globally, following Jay-Z, reports Euro News.
She is currently valued at an impressive $1.6 billion whereas Rihana's net worth is $1.4 billion, as per Forbes.
Forbes attributed the surge in Swift's wealth to the phenomenal success of her "Eras Tour" and the increasing value of her music catalogue, following her billionaire status in October 2023.

Her earnings include nearly $600 million from royalties and touring, another $600 million from her music catalogue, and approximately $125 million in real estate holdings.
In April, Swift ranked 14th on Forbes' list of richest celebrity billionaires with &1.1 billion.
By December 2023, her "Eras Tour" made history as the first tour to gross over $1 billion, achieving this milestone with just 60 shows over eight months.
Swift is expected to earn another billion dollars from the tour's 2024 dates.
