Nat’l Youth Archery: Tamimul Islam finishes top of junior recurve qualifiers

Mohammad Tamimul Islam of BKSP finished top in the qualification round of the Junior Recurve (Under-20) of the Teer 3rd National Youth Archery Championship 2019, scoring 664 out of 720 that began at Archery Training Center of Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi on Saturday.
Shakib Mollah of Tirondaz Sangsad finished 2nd scoring 654 while Mohammad Hakim Rubel of BKSP finished 3rd scoring 645 in the event's qualification round.

Mehnaz Aktar Monira of Dhaka Army Archery Club finished first in the girls recurve junior (under-20) qualification round scoring 627, Dia Siddiqui of BKSP finished 2nd scoring 626 while Moni Rani Sarker of BAF Tiger Cubs became distant 3rd scoring 573.
In the boys recurve cadet (under-17) qualification round, Pradipta Chakma of BKSP finished first scoring 666, Abdur Rahman Alif of BKSP finished 2nd scoring 660 while Jannatul Islam of BAF Tiger Cubs finished 3rd scoring 650.
In the girls recurve cadet (under-17) qualification round, Eti Khatun of Tirondaz Sangsad finished first scoring 649, Dia Siddiqui of BKSP finished 2nd scoring 629 and Uma Singh Marma of BKSP finished 3rd scoring 586.
In the boys recurve youngster (under-14) qualification round, Abdur Rahman Alif of BKSP finished first scoring 686, Rakib Mia of BKSP finished 2nd scoring 686 and Yeasin Arafat of Tirondaz Sangsad finished 3rd scoring 671.
In the girls recurve youngster (under-14) qualification round, Eti Khatun of Tirondaz Sangsad finished first scoring 682, Uma Singh Marma of BKSP finished 2nd scoring 666 and Rajani Akhtar of BKSP finished 3rd scoring 632.
Himu Bachar of BKSP finished first in the boys compound junior (under-20) qualification round scoring 693, Ashiqujjaman of BKSP finished 2nd scoring 690 and Radin Bin Taleb finished 3rd scoring 679.
In the girls' compound junior (under-20) qualification round, Puspita Zaman of BKSP finished top scoring 686, Bonnya Akhter of Bangladesh Ansar finished 2nd scoring 679 and Lamia Islam of Tirondaz Sangsad finished 3rd scoring 663.
In the boys compound cadet (under-17) qualification round, Himu Bachar of BKSP finished first scoring 685, Siam Siddiqui of Tirondaz Sangsad finished 2nd scoring 676 and Radin Bin Taleb finished 3rd scoring 664.
In the girls compound cadet (under-17) qualification round, Puspita Zaman of BKSP finished first scoring 682, Lamia Islam of Tirondaz Sangsad finished 2nd scoring 660 and Mst Humaira Akhtar Himu finished 3rd scoring 606.
A total of 103 young archers from ten teams -- 78 in recurve and 25 compound division archers – are taking part in the two-day meet.
