United States: The process by which the president is elected, not by popular vote

Direct voting will be held in the United States presidential election on November 5. The majority of US citizens will vote either the Democrat candidate Kamala Harris or the Republican candidate Donald Trump. But who will win will not be determined by this vote. The winner will be determined by the electoral battle of each state.
