Why and how is there a bicameral parliament with 505 seats in Bangladesh?
The Constitutional Reform Commission is going to recommend that the National Assembly be bicameral. According to the draft proposal, the lower house of the parliament will have 400 seats, elected under the current system. Out of these, 100 seats will be reserved for women. They will be elected directly.
