‘Continuing business following health safety strictly’
Maintaining social distancing, wearing face masks and washing hands should be emphasised while at home, on the way to office, and at the workplace
For the sake of the economy and livelihood, factories and businesses cannot be shuttered for too long. Only an entrepreneur will understand the pain of the losses incurred because of the pandemic-led shutdown.
Livelihoods of the employees must be kept continuing. And operations of offices and industries will have to be maintained following health safety measures during this crisis.
Since the very beginning, the FBCCI has been working with the finance ministry, the commerce ministry, the Prime Minister's Office, the central bank and several business leaders' organisations to tackle the coronavirus fallout. We are also working with the World Health Organisation, the International Labour Organisation and other international bodies on solutions so that we can reopen factories and production lines maintaining the health protocols.
The FBCCI prepared a health advisory protocol after consultation with relevant local and international organisations and the health ministry.
Maintaining social distancing, wearing face masks and washing hands should be emphasised while at home, on the way to office, and at the workplace.
Anyone having fever should consult a doctor immediately. Elderly persons with other health issues and pregnant mothers are highly recommended to work from home.
