Police seized 15 kilograms of marijuana from Benapole in Jashore on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of one Abdur Rahman at Sharbanghuda Pashchimpara village in the afternoon and recovered 15 kg marijuana from the rooftop of his house, said Mamun Khan, officer-in-charge of Benapole Port Police Station.
Realising the presence of law enforcers, Abdur Rahman fled the scene.
