3 fishermen die from lightning strike in Sunamganj

Three fishermen have died from lightning strike while catching fish in the haors of Doarabazar and Jamalganj in Sunamganj.

The deceased have been identified as Md Jalal Mia, son of Chan Mia, Md Jashim Uddin, son of Md Nurul Haque from West Palirchar village under Pandargaon union in Doarabazar upazila and Sharif Mia, son of Abdul Latif from Kalaguja village.

"Jalal and Jashim died on the spot today morning (29 September)," said Chairman of Pandargaon union Md Abdul Wahid.

Meanwhile, Sharif died yesterday (28 September), confirmed Additional Superintendent of Police of Su8namganj Md Jakir Hossain.
