46th BCS preliminary exam results republished
In an announcement made on Wednesday (27 November), the PSC revealed that this new list includes candidates from the preliminary exam held on 26 April
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has republished the results of the 46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination, with 21,397 candidates selected for the written examinations.
In an announcement made on Wednesday (27 November), the PSC revealed that this new list includes candidates from the preliminary exam held on 26 April.
According to the notification, 10,638 candidates have been provisionally selected for the written test, based on the requirements outlined in the Bangladesh Civil Service (Age, Qualifications, and Direct Recruitment Examination) Regulations and the 46th BCS notification.
This updated list includes an additional 10,759 candidates who were not initially selected in the earlier result, bringing the total number of candidates eligible for the written examination to 21,397.
The PSC also reminded that any candidates found to have falsified documents, failed to present required certifications, or committed any form of fraud or error in their application would have their candidacy cancelled.
This includes tampering with age or qualification certificates, submitting false information, or concealing necessary details.
For candidates wishing to check their individual results, the PSC has provided a link to view the full list of successful candidates.
Besides, results can be obtained via SMS through Teletalk Bangladesh Limited.
To receive results, candidates should send the text "PSC<Space>46<Space>Registration Number" to 16222. A return message will indicate whether the candidate has passed or not.
The specific dates and schedule for the 46th BCS written examination will be announced later through the PSC's website and press notices.
On 9 May, the PSC had initially selected 10,638 candidates for the written examination, but in a move to remove inequalities, an additional group of candidates has now been included in the final list.
