5 ‘youtubers’ arrested for gang-raping a model in Gazipur
The accused are Jahangir Alam, his accomplice Sumon Mia, Russell Talukder, Zahir Uddin and Sahabul.
Five "youtubers" have been arrested on allegation of gang-raping an actress in Gazipur's Kashimpur recently.
The rape incident took place in Hatimara area of Kashimpur on 31 January after the rapists asked her to go there for modelling in a Youtube video.
Police, on Tuesday night, arrested five people in connection to the gang-rape after the victim filed a case. The arrestees have been sent to Gazipur court on Wednesday afternoon.

The accused are Jahangir Alam, his accomplice Sumon Mia, Russell Talukder, Zahir Uddin and Sahabul.
Officer-in-Charge of Kashempur police station Mahbubey Khoda said, "On 31 January night, Jahangir Alam and his associates called the girl for modelling in a YouTube channel video. They then locked her in a room in his house and raped her in turns."
