9 ASPs sent on retirement
They will be entitled to all retirement benefits as per rules
The government has ordered the compulsory retirement of nine Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) from Bangladesh Police.
The Public Security Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued nine separate gazette notifications signed by Senior Secretary Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen in this regard yesterday.
The police officials are Assistant Commissioner of Barisal Metropolitan Police M R Shawkat Anwar Islam, Assistant Superintendent of Police of RAB Md Mosharraf Hossain, Md Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan, Md Mizanur Rahman, Assistant Superintendent of Police of APBN Zobairul Haque, Md Matiur Rahman, Assistant Superintendent of Police of CID Md Selim Hossain, Assistant Superintendent of Police of SAF Md Enayet Hossain and Assistant Superintendent of Police of RAB Md Jamal Uddin.
According to the notifications, they were sent on retirement from government service in public interest as per the provisions of section-45 of the Public Service Act, 2018 (section-57 of 2018 Act).
They will be entitled to get all fringe benefits of retirement as per the rules, it added.
