Md Abdus Sabur, an additional chief engineer of the Roads and Highways Department (RHD), has been appointed as the Chief Engineer of the Roads and Highways Department.
The Department of Road Transport and Highways issued a notification on Monday appointing Engineer Abdus Sabur as the chief engineer, marking the appointment official from Wednesday.
Abdus Sabur joined the Department of Roads and Highways in 1986 as an Assistant Engineer.
He then took on various responsibilities at the field level in the department. Prior to that, he was the Additional Chief Engineer of Dhaka Road Zone and the Project Director of the latest Western Bangladesh Bridge Improvement Project.
