Ain O Salish Kendra continues legal support through phone calls
The non-government organisation switches to phone calls from direct contract to provide legal advice over rights violation cases
Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK), a legal aid and human rights organisation, continues their operations online amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Due to the virus outbreak, the non-government organisation shifted its psychosocial counselling and legal advice services from face-to-face delivery to phone calls.
The rights body has introduced three more hotlines – +8801730450756, +8801714025067 and +8801756185717 – alongside the existing +8801724415677.
People will be able to avail legal advice regarding human rights violation cases by reaching the numbers from 9 am to 5 pm every day, a press release of the ASK said on Tuesday.
The ASK hopes that enhancing services though mobile phones will help protect human rights.
