Family source also confirmed the same that Mahbubey Alam's condition is critical and his lungs have not been working properly since Monday morning.
Earlier on September 20, Binta Mahbub, wife of the attorney general, told the media that he tested negative for the virus in recent test.
On September 4, Mahbubey Alam admitted to the capital's CMH with fever and sore throat and tested positive for the virus.
Later, he was transferred to the intensive care unit of the hospital after his physical condition became worse.
