Bangabandhu’s Homecoming Day observed in Vietnam

Bangladeshi Embassy in Vietnam's Hanoi on Sunday observed the Homecoming Day of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from Pakistan to the country and Mujib Year with respect and love.

The ambassadors along with all Bangladeshis in Hanoi prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu, his family members and the freedom fighters of the Liberation War as well as for the prosperity of the country.
In her speech, the ambassador represented the significance of the day when Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman returned home from Pakistan on January 10, 1972.
She also represented the history of Bangladesh and the charismatic leadership of Bangabandhu from language movement to the Liberation War.
Marking the day, a voluntary blood donation camp was also organised to help the destitute.
