Organic Nutrition Limited has announced its entry into the global functional food market with its products now available in the United States.
The exporting company made the announcement at a press conference at a hotel in the capital today (21 December).
The company said the products are also set for further expansion into Europe and the UAE.
Iftaker Rashid, director of Organic Nutrition Limited, said, "Traditionally, Bangladesh imports premium health foods from developed nations. Today, we are reversing this trend by exporting world-class, locally produced functional foods to global markets. This is not just a business success but a matter of national pride. We believe this sector will play a significant role in the country's export earnings."
In March 2024, the American company Teal Gaia inspected our facilities and, satisfied with the product quality, placed a significant order for four flagship functional foods. These products - Joint Guard, Immune Plus, Cycle Comfort, and Turmeric Booster - were launched in the US market in November 2024.
At a press event, ONL representatives emphasized their commitment to improving health through scientifically formulated functional foods.
These foods are not medicines or supplements but are safe for daily consumption, offering essential health benefits such as enhanced joint mobility, immune support, heart health, digestive wellness, and chronic disease prevention.
