Bangladeshi shot dead in South Africa
Ashu was the only earning member among the five siblings
A Bangladeshi expatriate was shot dead by several natives in South Africa's Johannesburg on Saturday night.
The deceased is Ashu Ali Khan Linkon, who hailed from Noakhali of Bangladesh.
Quoting family members, the victim's uncle said, Ashu went to South Africa ten years ago and started a business of selling mobile phone sets in Fordsburg area.
On Saturday night, some native miscreants came to his shop for plundering. At one stage, they shot Ashu as he tried to resist them.
Doctor declared him dead after locals took him to a hospital.
Ashu was the only earning member among the five siblings of his family. Mourning his death, Ashu's parents are losing their sense repeatedly. The family has fallen in difficulty after losing the only earning member. They urged cooperation from the government to bring his body to the country.
