Bank accounts of Joy, Putul, Bobby frozen

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has ordered banks to freeze all accounts of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina's son Sajib Wazed Joy, her daughter Saima Wazed Hossain Putul and her nephew Radwan Mujib Siddiq Bobby.
The anti-money laundering agency also ordered the freeze of all accounts of Awami League's research cell Center for Research and Information (CRI), CRI-Young Bangla Project and former state minister for power Nasrul Hamid.
The BFIU sent letters to banks in this regard today (30 September), according to documents seen by The Business Standard.
All of the said individuals are affiliated with the CRI.
Joy is the chairman of CRI, his sister Putul is the vice-chairman and Bobby is a member of its trust body.
Nasrul Hamid is also a member of the board of trustees. CRI came to the spotlight in 2010 for the implementation of various agendas of the party and the formation of public opinion.
