'Best Cook 1427' finishes its audition in Dhaka
The selection process of cooking reality show 'Best Cook 1427's is going on across the country. As a part of it, the audition of Dhaka region was held from 8 to 10 March at Dhaka Residential Model College on Mirpur road in the capital.
Out of the registered contestants from Dhaka region, who submitted their recipes online and by post, 180 chefs got the opportunity to participate in the audition, reads a press release.
The country's renowned culinary expert Rahima Sultana Rita and Shubhbrata Maitra, an internationally renowned chef, acted as judges.

According to the opinion of the wise judges on various criteria including taste of food, serving of food, presentation skills, 12 have been nominated for the next episode.
Square Food and Beverage Limited has organised the cooking competition for the 6th time this year to search the culinary talents of the country.
Twenty-four people from all over the country will be invited to Dhaka through departmental auditions. Grooming rounds will start with 15 of them after another competition. Those 15 cooks will compete in the finals.
The champion of the 'Best Cook 1427' will get Tk15 lakh and the first and second runner-ups will get Tk10 and Tk5 lakh respectively.
