Biman flight makes emergency landing as pilot felt uncomfortable
Another aircraft started for Singapore along with the passengers at 11:15am
A Singapore-bound flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying 145 passengers, has made an emergency landing one hour after it took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport today.
The flight No 084 Boeing 737 flew for Singapore at 8:25am, however, it made a technical landing around 9:30am, said Tahera Khandakar, deputy general manager of Biman Public Relations.
"The pilot was feeling uncomfortable to fly the aircraft to Singapore," Tahera added.
"The aircraft made a safe technical landing, which does not mean that there was any major technical glitch."
Another aircraft started for Singapore along with the passengers at 11:15am.
