BTV airs in India

The Bangladesh Television (BTV) started airing in India from today.

“BTV is airing in India through the DTH (Direct-To-Home) platform of Doordarshan,” cabinet secretary Md Shafiul Islam told reporters after a cabinet meeting.

“An agreement was signed between Bangladesh and India regarding the matter during Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh back in 2015,” he added.
