Car kills leopard cat in Lawachara Park

A leopard cat was killed after being hit by a car at Lawachara National Park in Kamalganj upazila of Moulvibazar on Friday morning.
The incident took place in Janakichhara area of the park.
Confirming the information, Range Officer Motaleb Hossain said the animal was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road in the morning and died on the spot.

"We have recovered the corpse. It will be buried and its skin will be preserved," he added.
