State-owned distillery Carew & Co has started producing hand sanitisers at an affordable price to meet the growing demand created due to the novel coronavirus cases in Bangladesh.

It will be marketed experimentally under the name "Carew's Hand Sanitiser" from Monday. In the meantime, Carew & Co has already delivered the product to its employees in Chuadanga.
The company will sell the product at Tk60 for a 100ml bottle of hand sanitiser.
Carew & Co (Bangladesh) Ltd is a distillery producing alcohol made from sugar cane in Bangladesh and is located Chuadanga of Khulna Division. Established in 1938, the factory has been producing high quality spirits.
