Chattogram C&F agent employees demonstrated over assault on fellow worker

Employees of C&F agent firms staged a demonstration on the Chattogram Customs House premises on Monday, protesting the assault on a fellow worker.
On Monday, a revenue officer allegedly assaulted C&F agent employee Tarun Barua physically. The incident prompted his fellow workers to abstain from work and stage the demonstration.
President of Chattogram Customs House C&F Agents Association AKM Akhter Hossain and Secretary Altaf Hossain Chowdhury Bachchu expressed solidarity to the protesting employees.

Kazi Mahmud Imam Bilu, joint general secretary of the C&F Agents Association, told The Business Standard in the evening that they were discussing with the protesters to settle the issue.
