Chattogram Zoo to soon welcome giraffes, American flamingos
Giraffes and American Flamingos will soon be joining the residents of Chattogram Zoo, announced district Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman on Monday.
Just a day ago, a hippopotamus was introduced to the zoo, and another one is expected to arrive within the next week.
During the inauguration of the newly constructed hippopotamus and crocodile cages, the deputy commissioner revealed plans to establish an aviary park in the adjacent Khas area, along with expanding the size of the zoo.
