ACC quizzes CAAB chief engineer
Earlier the anti-graft watchdog questioned him thrice
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Thursday quizzed four officials of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) including its Chief Engineer Sudhendu Bikash Goswami over graft allegations.
Three other accused are CAAB Superintending Engineer AKM Maksudul Islam, Superintending Engineer Md Habibur Rahman and Executive Engineer Shariful Islam.
The anti-graft watchdog is currently probing into the graft allegations over the Cox's Bazar airport development project, amassing allocations of various projects and accumulating wealth beyond known sources.

"A team led by Deputy Director of the commission Gulshan Anwar Pradhan quizzed them at the ACC headquarters in Dhaka's Segunbagicha area," said ACC Director Pranab Kumar Bhattacharjee.
Earlier, the ACC questioned Sudhendu thrice over alleged irregularities in maintenance, construction, purchase and fund management.
The ACC sent a notice to the CAAB on allegations of its officials and staff amassing a huge amount of money through irregularities in the maintenance, construction, procurement and fund management.
