ACC sues Regent's Shahed for embezzling Tk1 cr from Padma Bank

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed another case against four people including Regent Group Chairman Shahed Karim on allegations of embezzling Tk1 crore from Padma Bank Limited.
Shahjahan Meraj, deputy assistant director of the ACC, filed the case with its integrated district office 1 in Dhaka on Monday.
Others who are accused in the case are: Mahbubul Haque Chisty, former audit committee chairman of the Bank and his son Rashedul Haque Chisty, and Regent Hospital Ltd Managing Director Ibrahim Khalil.
Earlier, the anti-graft commission filed a case against four including Shahed on allegations of embezzling Tk1.51 crore from NRB bank Ltd.
