The operations of the popular social media app TikTok have been shut down in the United States. The app is no longer available on Apple and Google app stores in the country. A BBC report on January 19 confirmed this information. The report stated that the app went offline just a few hours before the U.S. ban took effect, and U.S. users can no longer access TikTok.
