Bangladeshis in Canada stage protest over money laundering
The expatriate Bangladeshis of Toronto started movements few months ago demanding legal actions against the money launderers and boycotting them
Bangladeshi expats in Canada's Toronto formed human chain on Sunday protesting against the people who settled in Canada after laundering money from Bangladeshi banks and other financial institutions.
The expatriates staged the protest in front of Parc Metro Station of Montreal at around 3:30pm (local time) under the slogan of "Stop robbers, save your homeland".
The expatriate Bangladeshis of Toronto started movements few months ago demanding legal actions against the money launderers and boycotting them. They formed human chain for several times.
Organisers of the human chain said, the programme has been called to prevent miscreants to come to Canada and make it as their safe home, after looting thousands of crores money from Bangladesh. After Toronto, they want to convey the clear message that Canada will not be allowed to be a safe destination for Bangladeshi robbers and money launders.
