ACC sues former BTEB chairman

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday filed a case against the former chairman of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board for allegedly acquiring illegal wealth.
ACC deputy director Ali Akbar has filed the case against Md Mostafizur Rahman with the ACC integrated district office of Dhaka-1, ACC spokesperson Pranab Kumar Bhattacharjee confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
According to the case statement, Mostafizur Rahman amassed more than Tk1 crore through illegal means. Besides, he concealed information of his assets while submitting asset statement to the ACC.
