Tennis ball mistaken for bomb at Dhanmandi
Police cordoned off a place after finding a bomb-like object at capital's Dhanmandi area on Friday midnight.
On information, a bomb disposal team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit rushed to the spot, said Dhanmandi Model police station's Officer-in-Charge Abdul Latif.
After inspecting the object, the bomb disposal unit said it was neither a bomb nor an IED, but a tennis ball. However, police took it away with them afterwards.
