Wife killed over posting pictures on social media, husband surrenders
Police recovered the body and sent it to the Bagerhat Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy
A man allegedly strangulated his wife to death in Doshani Uttarpara area of Bagerhat town over posting "offensive" pictures on social media sites.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bagerhat Model Police Station KM Azizul Islam, said "The perpetrator, Abdullah Al Naeem alias Shanto, 23, confessed to his crime and surrendered around 8:30 pm."
Quoting Naeem, the police said the couple had frequent family feuds as the woman reportedly used to post "offensive" photos on various social media sites such as Likee, TikTok.

Naeem, a worker in Dhaka, on Saturday strangulated her to death during a dispute. Meanwhile, the victim's family members alleged that the murder was committed over some other underlying issues.
Police recovered the body and sent it to the Bagerhat Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
"Naeem is in our custody. We are still investigating whether there is any other issue is involved in the murder" said OC Islam.
