Dengue claims child’s life
The official death toll for dengue is 40, but private sources claim that the figure has exceeded 140.

A child died of dengue fever in the city’s Apollo Hospitals on the morning of August 21.
The deceased is Shanum Siraj, 13, said hospital sources.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, the death toll from dengue has risen to 40 this year. However, private sources claim that the figure has exceeded 140.
