DGFP observes Int’l Mother Language Day 2021
To mark the day, banners were hoisted at the main entrance of the directorate’s building
Directorate General of Family Planning observed the International Mother Language and Martyrs Day 2021 with various programmes on Sunday.
To mark the day, banners were hoisted at the main entrance of the directorate's building, reads a press release.
Also, the national flag was hoisted at half-mast in the buildings of all the institutions under the directorate in Dhaka under the directorate, the press release added.

Moreover, at 8:00am on the day, a rally took place from the Azimpur Maternity and Child Health Training Institute (MCHTI) to the Central Shaheed Minar to pay homage to all the martyrs. Md Hemayet Hussain (Additional Secretary), Director (Admin), DGFP led the rally.
The rally took place by following all hygiene rules regarding the Covid-19 pandemic.
Also, Dhaka Divisional Director Md Shariful Islam, MFSTC Director Dr Md Moniruzzaman Siddiqui, MCHTI (Azimpur, Dhaka) Director Dr Israt Jahan, Deputy Director of IEM Unit Abdul Latif Molla and Deputy Director of Administration Unit (Common Service) Md Moniruzzaman paid homage to the language martyrs.
