DNCC public relations officer stabbed
Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Public Relations Officer Mokbul Hossain was stabbed and seriously injured.
He was immediately rushed to United Hospital in Gulshan, where he is currently undergoing treatment in the emergency department.
Eyewitnesses reported that Mokbul Hossain and several other officials of Dhaka North City were playing badminton in a temporary court set up at the old revenue department office on Road No. 90. A person wearing a helmet came there and called Mokbul Hossain.

The man took Mokbul Hossain outside to the road, placing his hand on Mokbul's shoulder. After a few moments, Mokbul Hossain was found injured and called out for help. Others rushed him to the hospital.
Executive Magistrate Shahidul Islam said that doctors have initially provided medication and treatment to stop the bleeding. An operation will be performed on Wednesday morning to determine if there are any significant wounds or severed blood vessels.
He has three stab wounds on his right shoulder, below the right elbow, and on his chest.
Mohammad Masud Alam Siddique, Secretary (Additional Charge of Chief Executive Officer) of Dhaka North City, said the matter has been reported to the Ministry of Local Government.
The Executive Officer of Zone-3 of Dhaka North City has been instructed to take legal action at the police station.
