Dr Zafrullah’s pneumonia worsens
In a social media post at the verified Facebook page of Gonosasthaya Kendra, Brig Gen Mamun Mustafi said, “Dr Zafrullah Cowdhury’s health condition is a bit worrying today (Tuesday). His pneumonia has increased.”
Although Covid-19 free, the health of Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury has deteriorated somewhat as his pneumonia condition worsens.
His doctor Professor Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Mamun Mustafi (Retd) provided the information about his health on Tuesday.
In a social media post at the verified Facebook page of Gonoshasthaya Kendra, Brig Gen Mamun Mustafi said, "Dr Zafrullah Cowdhury's health condition is a bit worrying today (Tuesday). His pneumonia has increased."
"Assessing the current medical condition, new doses of antibiotics are being provided to him. Dr Zafrullah asked for everyone's blessings", added Brig Gen Mamun.
Earlier on May 24, Dr Zafrullah was tested Covid-19 positive with the G-Rapid Dot Blot kit invented by his organisation.
On May 28, he was tested positive for Covid-19 in the PCR test by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU) as well.
On June 14, he recovered from coronavirus but is still undergoing treatment at Ganashasthaya Nagar Hospital under the supervision of Dr Brig Gen (Retd) Mamun Mustafi and Professor Dr Najib Mohammad.
