CU students asked to carry ID card at all times on campus
The university administration also said students who have lost their identity cards should carry appropriate proof and photocopies of admission receipts of first-year students
The University of Chittagong has asked its students to carry their university identity cards at all times when staying on campus from now on in a bid to ensure a proper environment for education.
The university made the request in a circular, signed by Proctor Tanvir Mohammad Hayder Arif, issued today (24 September).
The circular states that regular patrolling by the proctorial team is being conducted in order to create a suitable environment for learning in the campus. "For that purpose, students are requested to keep their identity cards with them during their stay in the campus."
The university administration also said students who have lost their identity cards should carry appropriate proof and photocopies of admission receipts of first-year students.
