Ducsu election: Talks with students, orgs, other stakeholders to begin 4 Feb
The code of conduct for Ducsu election will be finalised following discussions with relevant stakeholders
Discussions regarding the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) election will start on 4 February, engaging general students, active campus-based student organisations, and other key stakeholders.
This decision was made during the first meeting of a committee formed over Ducsu election today (16 January), said a press release issued by the public relations office of Dhaka University.
The meeting was chaired by the committee convenor Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr Mamun Ahmed.
The meeting also decided that the code of conduct for Ducsu election will be finalised following discussions with relevant stakeholders to ensure the process is transparent and widely acceptable.
Dhaka University's announcement regarding the much-sought Ducsu election has stirred a wave of enthusiasm and expectations among students and student organisations.
