Education Minister to brief on higher education amid pandemic

Minister of Education Dr Dipu Moni will hold an online press briefing today on various issues of higher education amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mohammad Abul Khair, public relations officer of the ministry confirmed that the press briefing will start at 2 pm today.

At present, there are plans to reopen public-private universities as the coronavirus outbreak has decreased in the country. Students of different universities of the country have already started protesting to reopen the educational institutes.
Educational institutions have been closed since March 17 last year. After a serise of closures, lastly the closure was extended till 28 February.
