Hult Prize 2020 CUET campus round ends tomorrow
Hult Prize, termed as the “Nobel prize for students”, is conducted under direct supervision of the United Nations and the Bill Clinton Foundation.
Submitting startup business ideas for Hult Prize 2020 campus round, being held at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), will end on November 11.
The competition takes place in over 2,000 universities around the world and CUET is one of the twenty universities in Bangladesh that organizes the campus round competition in Bangladesh.
CUET has been hosting Hult Prize campus rounds since 2017. This year the slogan of the Hult Prize is, "Building startups that have a positive impact on our planet with every dollar earned".
The champion team from CUET campus round will be awarded Tk10,000 and will be competing in the regional round. Six such teams from different universities will be selected from the regional round to participate in the final round held at the United Nations headquarters. The winning team will get $1 million to establish their startup.
In 2017, CUET secured a place in the top 20 among 660 universities in the regional round held in Malaysia.
This year CUET stood second in 'Viewing party of UN finals 2019 world ranking.'
