JnU admission test begins on Saturday
The admission seekers must enter the centre 30 minutes before the examination starts
The first year Honours admission tests at the Jagannath University (JnU) for the academic year 2019-2020 will begin on Saturday.
The written test for Unit-3 (faculty of business studies) will be held in the morning, from 10am to 11:30am, followed by another one in the afternoon, from 3pm to 4:30pm.
The two separate time for the test has been fixed on the basis of odd and even roll numbers of the candidates: the admission seekers with even roll numbers will take the exam at 10am, while those having odd roll numbers will take it at 3pm.
Total number of students appearing for the exam stands at 20,307 against 610 seats, meaning 34 students will be contending for each of the seats.
The admission seekers must enter the centre 30 minutes before the examination starts. Candidates will not be allowed to bring electric devices, such as, mobile phone, calculator and watch in the exam hall.
The written test for Unit-2 (consisting of faculty of arts, faculty of social science, faculty of law, Institute of Modern Language, and the Institute of Education and Research) will be held on September 20, while the exam for admission into Unit-1 (consisting faculty of science and faculty of life and earth sciences) will be held on September 21.
The practical and viva for admission into the departments of music, theatre, fine arts and film, and television will be held on September 29.
