Prof Niaz Ahmed to be appointed DU VC

Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan of the Development Studies Department is set to become the new vice-chancellor of Dhaka University (DU).
A source at the university confirmed the matter to The Business Standard today (26 August).
Professor Niaz is currently serving as the pro-vice-chancellor of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).
