Even CEC’s fingerprint mismatched!
Today's election is also a big test for the electronic voting machines
The complaints regarding fingerprint mismatches were being raised by many voters since the voting in the Dhaka South and North City Corporations began Saturday morning using electronic voting machine (EVM).
Even the Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda faced same problem when he went to cast vote at IES School and College at Uttara in the capital.
Later he cast vote showing his national identity card.

"My fingerprint is 8/9 years old. My finger was sweating too. Later I cast vote showing my NID card," the CEC told the reporters.
He also said many voters may face same problem and urged them not to leave without casting votes as there are alternative of fingerprint.
Voting has begun in different centres of the Dhaka North and South City Corporations since 8am Saturday with EVM.
For the first time in the electoral history of Bangladesh, only EVMs are being used in a major election that already appeared as a prestigious battle of ballots between the two political rivals.
More than 50 lakh voters are entitled to cast votes using over 14,000 machines to elect two mayors and over 150 councillors in the two city corporations in the capital.
