Ex-secretary Fazlur Rahman appointed as chairman of Janata Bank
Fazlur Rahman will serve as the bank's chairman for the next three years from the date of joining
The government has appointed former secretary M Fazlur Rahman as the chairman of the state-owned Janata Bank PLC.
According to a notification issued by Financial Institutions Division today (28 August), Fazlur Rahman will serve as the bank's chairman for the next three years from the date of joining.
Earlier, the division accepted the resignation of SM Mahfuzur Rahman, the former chairman of Janata Bank.
He submitted his resignation letter on 22 August.
