Executive committee of America-Bangladesh Press Club formed

America Bangladesh Press Club, an association of journalists of Bengali newspapers and electronic media in the United States, has formed its new executive committee for the 2020-2022 term.
On August 30, the members of the association cast their votes and elected the executive committee members during the annual general meeting of the association at Tappen Beach Park in New York.
Among the seven executive members of the committee, Saptahik Prabash Editor Mohammad Sayed was elected president of the committee while Prothom Alo North America Chief Reporter Manzurul Haque was elected general secretary.

The other members are: Mashiur Rahman, treasurer, from khabar.com; Darpan Kabir, outgoing president; Shahab Uddin Sagore, former general secretary; plus Tofajjal Liton and Abu Bakar Siddique, assistant general secretaries.
