Fire guts Manoshi Plaza basement at Farmgate
Firefighting efforts were delayed due to the presence of thick smoke
A fire broke out in Manoshi Plaza, located in the capital's Farmgate area, earlier this morning (23 November) at around 9:20am.
Five firefighting units doused the flames, which began in the basement of the seven-storeyed building, soon after arriving at the scene, according to Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Although the fire was not considered serious, firefighting efforts were delayed due to the presence of thick smoke.
No casualties have been reported so far.
