Fire at Islambagh house under control

A fire that broke out at a house in Islambagh, a bustling area of the capital Dhaka, has been brought under control.
The fire started at around 3:17pm today (15 February) and the first firefighting unit reached the scene at 3:25 pm, said Fire Service and Civil Defence in a message to the media.
The fire was brought under control at 4:27pm, according to the fire service.
It said a total of eight firefighting units – two each from Lalbagh, Hazaribagh, Palashi, and Siddiqbazar stations – were at the scene working to douse the flames.
No casualties has been reported so far.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are yet to be known.
