Fog forces 3 Chattogram-bound flights to land in Dhaka
Domestic flights scheduled to fly from the Shahjalal airport this morning were also delayed
Three international flights bound for Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport had to make an unscheduled landing at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport this morning due to dense fog.
The flights of Regent Airways, US-Bangla Airlines and Biman Bangladesh Airlines were diverted to Dhaka as they could not land at the Shah Amanat airport due to the thick fog, said Shah Amanat International Airport Manager Wing Commander Sarwar E Zaman.
The overall situation of the airport started getting to normal from 9am, he added.
Domestic flights scheduled to fly from the Shahjalal airport this morning were also delayed.
