Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park in Gazipur will be reopened for tourists from 1 November, after about seven months closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Assistant Forest Conservator Tabibur Rahman, also the officer-in-charge of the safari park, said, "The Park will be reopened following proper health guidelines."
"The decision to reopen tourist spots, safari parks, national parks, botanical gardens, aviary parks, sanctuary centres, and eco-parks under the Forest Department has also been taken," he added further.
Earlier on 20 March this year, the part was closed in a bid to control the spread of the coronavirus.
