Dhaka South opens control room to prevent dengue
The control room will monitor the overall activities of the city corporation to destroy breeding grounds of Aedes mosquito
Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) today opened a control room to supplement the efforts for containing outbreak of the dengue disease.
DSCC Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh formally inaugurated the control room at a function at the Nagar Bhaban on Thursday (13 July).
The mayor said the control room will monitor the overall activities of the city corporation to destroy breeding grounds of Aedes mosquito, which eventually will contribute to combating the mosquito-borne disease.
